Q Lofts is a multiunit residential condominium constructed by Polycorp, located in the north end of Halifax. The three floors house 72 apartments. Even though there are 3 floors, each floor is 2 stories high giving the one bedroom loft apartments an open and spacious feel. The penthouse offers a lounge, gym and terrace. All exterior walls at the Q Lofts, Woodman's Grove, and Aria are constructed of ICF (insulating concrete formwork) which has resulted in substantial heating, cooling, and ventilation load reductions.

Thermographic cameras take pictures of the infared radiation that is emitted from objects. Infared radiation is basically light that is not visible to humans. The camera detects the radiation. The amount of radiation emitted by an object increases with temperature; therefore, thermography allows one to see variations in temperature.
